This is an introductory survey course for the discipline known as Business, i.e. its major functional areas, characteristics, requirements, and career opportunities.
Activities, e.g. assignments, quizzes, final exam, are done by using your laptop computer. This is a "paperless environment" which aims to promote both internet/cyberspace and its applications for more effective learning. For some this may be familiar territory, but for others it may be a new experience. Students who are familiar with software & computers should assist those who are less experienced with such.
There will be group/team assignments which will likely require such cooperation and/or teamwork to be completed. The PageOut system offers many assests to both facilitate and enhance one's education experience.
