This is a HYBRID course will be conducted in a classroom with course materials and activities which employ the "internet" & electronic facilities; and will utilize internet resources (e.g. online learning center) to enhance and to compliment what is done within this course.
Whether you have lots of experience and skills in "cyberspace", or are just starting, consideration will be given in ways which will accommodate and nurture a wide array of talents & abilities.

As with any developing technology, there will be problems from time to time. Thus, some patience, due diligence, and consideration will serve to improve the process.
Each student MUST complete the "Student Registration/Signup" procedure for this course site. Each student will have to choose a USER ID & Password. This registration/signup is MANDATORY to activate the communication function and to allow each student to access course materials, assignments, gradebook, etc.. To be able to complete the Student Registration procedure you will need a course registration "password" that will be given to you at first (1st) class session- -where ALL students are to complete this registration procedure.

MKT 511: Final Examination

MKT 511 Final Examination will be available for testing at PageOut course site today, Monday, 27 July at 0600-0800 and will be proctored!
Proctor password will be distributed in class (HHH-107) tonight! Bring your laptop computers to class! Grading of the exam is automatic once submitted with results posted in the Gradebook! Course grades will be posted within 48 hours in the Gradebook! E-mail notice will be sent when this is done! Term Project grades will be posted in the Gradebook during the Final Exam period!

MKT 511 Bonus Points: READ!

Bonus Points are awarded for correctly answering questions "designated" as Bonus Point questions. In class, 13 July, students did this and the number of Bonus Points indicated for same, typically 5 points each, credited to each of their individual Bonus Points accounts in the Gradebook!. Congratulations! As mentioned in class, each qualified student here should send me an e-mail indicating the number of Bonus Points earned, i.e. when a Bonus Points signup list/sheet is NOT distributed in any class session.All here is done on the honor system and Bonus Points will be credited to individual student accounts (line item), i.e. Bonus Points, in the Gradebook. Organization of Term Project Groups/Teams will be done in class on 1 June. A "Moderator" will be designated for each Term Project Group/Team. Subsequently, a drawing will be held to decide which Team does which project.
Each of the topics will require research and data gathering to be done well!

Course Description
MKT 511: An opportunity to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of marketing functions, institutions, and concepts, including studies of marketing functions and strategies of demand analysis, product planning, pricing, distribution, promotion and marketing forecasts from the viewpoint of the manager. Emphasis will be placed on the analysis of marketing problems involving the creation, distribution, and sale of goods and services within the context of coordinated market planning and marketing information systems. Prerequisite: BUS 501. Three (3) Graduate semester credits.
This course is conducted on a "seminar" basis which requires each student to STUDY & to PREPARE assignments PRIOR to EACH class meeting so that applications and analysis of such may be done WITHIN each class session.
