  • Complete and post as a REPLY in the DA your answers to each of the ten (10) questions before 30 November.

    Case Analysis assignments are:

  • Case #8--COACH Inc.: Is Its Advantage in Luxury Handbags Sustainable? is due before 2355 on 24 July!, and

  • Case #20--Spectrum Brands' Diversification Strategy: A Success or a Failure? is due before 2355 on 7 August!

    Be sure to incorporate relevant and current information (company and market) for BOTH cases---links to each company site are included in each respective Topic Area within the Discussion Area(DA)!
  • Text readings need to be complete for Chapter 8 for Case #8 COACH, and through Chapter 11 for Case #20 Spectrum Brands!

  • Review the course site together with all posted materials therein, especially the Course Syllabus & Course Content!
  • Recommned that you aquire "CASE TUTOR" which is available at the course textbook web site's Online Learning Center (OLC) and is explained on the inside cover of your textbook!
  • Remember to develop your Student Homepage by 31 May @2355 for up to 20 Bonus Points, i.e. if differentiated with motion, sound, color, graphics, and web links!

  • Course Description


    BA 490: A capstone course dealing with management responsibilities in the areas of business policy and corporate strategy with emphasis on the application of concepts through problems and case studies. The focus is on the management of these items toward the formulation and achievement of the objectives of the business enterprise. Prerequisite: Three (3) graduate semester credits.
